About The Position

The Global Procurement Specialist is responsible for a broad range of procurement functions supporting procurement transactions, product development, supplier relationship management, resolution of supplier quality issues, surplus inventory/equipment sales, and invoice error resolution. The specialist may have areas of emphasis within these functions; however, the incumbents have expertise and knowledge in performing all aspects of the roles. Using various systems (SAP, ARIBA, etc.) the specialists ensure timely exchange of product development and pre-costing samples/quotes, issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely payment to suppliers. The Procurement Specialist researches and resolves invoice discrepancies pertaining to price and quantity differences, and provides timely customer service and support to buyers, accounts payable, business partners, end users, receiving personnel and suppliers. This is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.

Requirements

• An associates degree OR 2 years professional work experience.
• Experience in SAP or Ariba.

• Experience with Lean tools and behaviors.
