The Procurement Specialist reporting to the Sr. Manager, Procurement Systems is responsible for providing Purchasing System training support as well as L1 & L2 Help Desk management from the ServiceNow ticketing solution. Service with a Passion is a key focus for our Department and our Team. This opportunity is Customer Service focused for back of the house Team Members and is the intake for System Issues and will escalate management of those tickets in accordance with our team’s technical experts.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with modern purchasing transactional systems. Experience in Oracle technologies is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT application support or Procurement/Supply Chain function preferred
  • Broad knowledge of spend management strategies and/or procurement, sourcing, category management and supplier performance management
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and knowledge of software systems
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Enthusiasm and drive to succeed
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Passion to provide great service to internal customers (e.g., sourcing professionals, property operators)

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day Procure to Pay (P2P) operational support of users in the P2P application (Oracle) through management of the P2P Help Desk (ServiceNow).
  • End-user training sessions and communications as required.
  • Assist Strategic Sourcing professionals with technical and process issues as required; which may include basic business process solutions.
  • Assist with improving training documentation and communicating.
  • Provide additional support to the purchasing system’s team as requested.
  • Create analytic reports of KPIs
