The Procurement Specialist is responsible for: • Procuring and managing product lines in formulary/ database • Placing orders, organizing and tracking shipments • Source multiple vendors for each product prime/secondary source of supply • Incorporate re-order points to the all warehouse stocked lines. • Discuss defective products with suppliers and negotiate corrective actions • Evaluate vendors on price, delivery, quality and service • Create, maintain and update stock record files • Source replacements or alternative products to all kits • Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve best/ dealer pricing • Obtain up to date commodity information for pricing and availability • Prepare accurate reports for upper management and logistic systems • Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand • Establish Cost and List Price matrix to deliver consistent and timely customer quotations • Develop and maintain high level of communication with internal customer regarding status of RFQ • Determine RFQ priorities and policies • Contributes to VIGILINT mission by accomplishing other duties as required.

Requirements

  • United States citizenship
  • Proven experience as logistics coordinator, procurement, purchasing Manager and IT
  • Maintain management informed of duty changes or PTO requirements with enough time to address daily tasking
  • Remain professional at all times
  • Flexible, responsible and innovative
  • Experience in customer service
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Energetic, friendly, outgoing, proactive personality
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when operational tempo require
  • 2+ years of Medical Logistics experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 4+ years' purchasing management experience.
