About The Position

Reporting to the Manager of Procurement, you will manage the purchasing of plant-based protein ingredient materials while considering price, quality, logistics, reliability, and supply continuity. You will be accountable for research, high‑level problem resolution, negotiations, master data analysis, transaction processing, and report development. You'll collaborate with cross‑functional partners to identify process improvement opportunities and support the Ingredients team as business needs arise. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Develop and apply an understanding of market dynamics, cost drivers, and logistics related to plant-based protein ingredients Develop and apply an understanding of company facilities, requirements, capabilities, processes, and constraints Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and multiple cross‑functional teams Support business process improvements and documentation efforts Develop an understanding of enterprise resource planning material requirements planning processes and supporting data Manage procurement master data and leverage applicable systems to guide process efficiencies Release requests for proposal and negotiate and execute contracts aligned with category strategy Drive digital adoption by learning, applying, and continuously improving procurement tools and analytics to increase efficiency and decision quality Provide research and analytical support for issues and ad hoc projects across the procurement organization Ingredients Required for Your Success Bachelor’s degree Two or more years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, commodity trade, or finance roles Comfortable presenting information to all levels within the organization Strategic thinking and critical evaluation of issues Intermediate Excel experience Experience with SAP and data visualization tools is preferred In the Omaha office three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday #LI-PM2 #LI-Hybrid #LI-Associate Compensation Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two or more years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, commodity trade, or finance roles
  • Comfortable presenting information to all levels within the organization
  • Strategic thinking and critical evaluation of issues
  • Intermediate Excel experience
