About The Position

The Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of procurement activities while also supporting inventory management. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives in an office-forward environment and enjoys balancing operational execution with administrative and people-facing responsibilities. This position supports the Procurement function by managing purchasing, receiving, inventory, and vendor coordination.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, office operations, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of IT hardware (laptops, monitors, firewalls, switches, peripherals, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
  • Physical requirement to twist, stretch, and possibly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Customer service oriented and people friendly approach.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily procurement activities including purchasing, receiving, and processing hardware and equipment for service tickets.
  • Maintain procurement ordering timelines.
  • Review open purchase orders and follow up on exceptions, delays, or returns.
  • Update procurement tickets and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Verify warranties, shipments, and tracking information.
  • Restock standard inventory items and flag upcoming shortages.
  • Coordinate with project, service, and office stakeholders on upcoming needs.
  • Receive, log, and verify all delivered hardware against purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including monthly inventory counts and adjustments across all offices.
  • Manage internal equipment lifecycle including loaners, redeployment, and electronic recycling.
  • Process returns, warranties, and RMA requests with vendors and distributors.
  • Identify trends, gaps, or inefficiencies in procurement and inventory processes.
  • Various office management duties as necessary/front desk backup.
