Job Summary: The Procurement Specialist is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to ensure that procurement processes and activities meet standards. This role involves conducting procurement analyses, performing data analysis, and developing and implementing procurement plans. The Procurement Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to address procurement issues, perform cost analysis, and implement cost-saving measures. Additionally, this role involves training and mentoring procurement staff and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with at least 5 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
  • In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Experience with conducting inventory audits and implementing process improvements.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve inventory issues
  • Proven ability to influence and drive change across various levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
  • Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
