About The Position

As a Procurement Specialist, you will help keep critical capital projects
moving. Working closely with Supply Chain Analysts, you will support procurement
activities and inventory replenishment across our footprint. You’ll also act as
the primary liaison for vendors, managing purchase orders and coordinating
deliveries to keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, supply chain or business administration preferred
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Willingness to work as a team and independently.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree, supply chain or business administration preferred

Responsibilities

• Review and submission of purchase requisitions for approval
• Execution of inventory replenishments programs
• Purchase order issuance to vendors
• Maintaining purchase order details in the ERP system
• Proactively follow up with vendors regarding purchase orders delivery
• Escalating vendor performance concerns to the appropriately
• Act as a liaison with internal business units (Outside Plant, Network Operations, Field Operations, etc.) to compile information regarding production status and short-term material needs
• Support the disposition of obsolete material
• Identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures
