About The Position

Procurement Specialist Remote: Tucson AZ US Citizenship Required W2 Hourly rate: $29.03 to $33.52 DOE Are you interested in an opportunity to work from home 5 days a week? GeoLogics has an exciting opportunity for you to work within a team responsible for executing the overall procurement activities associated with contingent labor via multiple procurement methods. In this important role, you'll engage in significant interactions with Business EXIM, Legal, Sr. Leaders, Gate Reviews, internal and external stakeholders. Your day to day responsibilities for this role will include but may not be limited to: Preparing and obtaining of all manner of solicitations including RFQ, RFP, RFI and cost Proposal/Quotation activities from prospective subcontractors, leased labor, technical service and consulting providers. Employing various techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability. Managing Supplier's critical path in support of key program milestones. Monitoring and reporting cost, schedule and status of suppliers and recommends or implements corrective action as necessary. Analyzing quotations/proposals utilizing price/cost analysis techniques such as CAPA and/or Price Analysis. Reviewing Statements of Work to ensure in accordance with Policies, work instructions, state and federal law. Performing purchase order documentation in accordance with Government regulations (FAR/DFAR,etc.) and company policies. Placing compliant purchase orders for both high and low dollar packages of various procurement complexity. Supporting escalations and resolution of internal or external customer concerns/issues. Attributes, skills and qualifications needed for success include: US Citizenship. Must be a US Citizen to be eligible for consideration. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering with 2 years of directly relevant experience; Master's Degree with 1 year of experience or Associates degree with 4 years. Experience must include DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), ITAR or import/export requirements SAP (PRISM/APEX), automation tools, and processing information. Understanding of written contractual authorization/vehicles (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, T&M, etc.). Must have demonstrated experience in the procurement and management of contingent labor within a government contracting environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow-down requirements, as well as standard Terms and Conditions), and with supplier management a plus. Experience with proposals from prospective suppliers, analyzing cost/price, technical capability, financial viability, and conducting investigations to ensure ability to perform within cost and schedule Experience with of all phases of sourcing and procurement execution to include price negotiation, reductions, terms and conditions, and completion of compliance EPAD Packages strongly desired Previous experience with integrated supply chain, including strategic procurement a must Experience with technical requirements of procured services including Statements of Work (SOW) and Leased Labor, and experience completing compliant Procurement Packages utilizing standard systems and experience with a variety of agreements: Teaming, Bidding, and PIAs/NDAs. Soft skills needed include: A demonstrated ability to display good judgement and solve problems in the absence of an obvious clear path; a commitment to high ethical standards regardless of the circumstance and strong interpersonal skills that allow for successful work in a diverse environment with numerous internal and external customers.
