About The Position

The Procurement Specialist Technical at Constellation is responsible for implementing supply chain processes, managing inventory, and overseeing investment recovery programs. This role focuses on ensuring customer and supplier needs are met, resolving day-to-day procurement issues, and supporting supplier relationship management to enhance performance metrics and compliance with contractual obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, science or related field with two (2) years experience, or High School diploma with six (6) years of experience.
• Good PC and computer skills including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Passport, and Hyperion.
• Good analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable modules of Passport and eSourcing tool.

Responsibilities

• Support customer and supplier needs including engineered specifications and sourcing strategies.
• Perform day-to-day process resolution for unenterable invoices, supplier changes, and unit of measure changes.
• Investigate and correct issues related to mismatched invoices, contracts, purchase orders, and deliveries.
• Manage emergent supplier relationships and assist in developing supplier performance metrics.
• Support technical evaluations, material classification, and reverse engineering efforts.
• Assist in Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned.
