About The Position

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for procuring goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively within the P2P space of the Shared Business Operation (SBO). This role involves managing purchase requests, sourcing suppliers, processing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The position is remote and emphasizes the importance of professional development and career advancement within a leading healthcare organization.

Requirements

  • One or more years of experience in Procurement.
  • One or more years of experience utilizing Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, or Peoplesoft.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • High School Diploma.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Supply Chain or Procurement in a healthcare corporate setting.
  • Specific knowledge of materials, supplies, and equipment utilized in a healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Computer Skills: Google Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and reviewing purchase requests from departments to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Researching potential suppliers and obtaining quotes for goods and services.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.
  • Creating and issuing accurate purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ordering new supplies as necessary.
  • Ensuring contracts are up-to-date and managing contract renewals.
  • Processing payments to suppliers and ensuring invoice accuracy.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders regarding procurement matters and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyzing procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve the procurement process.
