About The Position
The position involves educating and assisting Macomb County businesses that are interested in selling their products and services to federal, state, and local government entities. This role is funded by the Department of Defense and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). The Procurement Specialist will provide comprehensive technical assistance and training in government contracting procedures, registrations, certifications, and compliance to individuals and firms contemplating doing business with government agencies.
