About The Position
The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) is seeking a Procurement Specialist 1. This position involves strategically sourcing and procuring goods and services for a large organization. As a Procurement Specialist 1, you will oversee the bidding, acceptance, and delivery of commodities, develop control specifications, prepare purchase documents, and accept deliveries. Effective communication skills are essential for consulting with agency procurement subject matter experts and developing effective procurement strategies. Additionally, you will monitor supplier compliance, track supplier performance, and gather supplier performance feedback.
