The Procurement Solutions Professional – Tariffs & Process Excellence supports the execution of designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring procurement capabilities to deliver globally effective and scalable business solutions. You will work with large, complex datasets, partner across multiple procurement categories and business verticals, and respond to executive‑level inquiries that directly impact significant dollar exposure and mitigation decisions. What makes this role exciting: This role sits within a new, high‑visibility tariff task force, supporting enterprise‑wide tariff reporting, analytics, and mitigation efforts. You will be able to work with teams across the enterprise, providing a broad enterprise perspective while building a strong internal network. You will work on high‑impact, large‑dollar tariff initiatives in a fast‑moving, highly dynamic environment, gaining deep insight into how global procurement decisions are made and directly influencing meaningful business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Business Process Improvement: Ability to evaluate existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement more efficient ways of working.
  • Data Analytics: Strong capability in inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and analyzing data to support decision‑making; advanced Excel and Power BI experience strongly preferred.
  • Effective Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders and executives.
  • Matrix Management: Ability to work effectively across categories, verticals, functions, and geographic boundaries.
  • Cost‑Benefit Analysis: Ability to assess options and initiatives based on financial impact, trade‑offs, and business value.
  • Procurement Function Knowledge: Understanding of procurement operations, sourcing, and governance; procurement or operations background is helpful and differentiating.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, supply chain, marketing, or related coursework are beneficial.
  • Proven experience working with large datasets, analytics, dashboards, and executive‑level reporting.
  • A track record of business process improvement, cost or dollar impact, and adaptability in changing environments.
  • Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, and rapidly evolving environment—with the ability to stay nimble and prioritize effectively.
  • Exposure to tariffs, trade, compliance, or mitigation work

Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Data Analytics Support tariff reporting and analytics as a primary focus, producing and maintaining dashboards and reports used by enterprise, vertical, and category leadership.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets using Microsoft Excel and Power BI to identify tariff exposure, trends, risks, and mitigation progress.
  • Support forecasting, reconciliation, and validation activities tied to tariff regimes, sourcing behavior, and mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain and support data entry, collection, and validation processes for tariff‑tracking tools, including PowerApps.
  • Cross‑Category & Cross‑Vertical Collaboration Partner across multiple procurement categories and verticals (including RI, P&E, CI, and others) to gather inputs and align reporting.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with peers, functional partners, and leaders across procurement, operations, and related teams.
  • Ensure consistent assumptions, metrics, and definitions are applied across tariff reporting and analytics.
  • Identify, track, and resolve data inconsistencies or errors, driving issues through to resolution.
  • Executive Communications Translate complex tariff and procurement data into clear, concise, executive‑ready insights.
  • Prepare briefing materials, summaries, dashboards, and escalation packages for Senior Managers, Directors, Vice Presidents, and enterprise leadership.
  • Respond to executive inquiries with accuracy, speed, and clarity, enabling faster decision‑making and reducing rework.
  • Procurement & Operational Support Apply procurement and tariff domain knowledge to support supplier‑related tariff validation and mitigation efforts.
  • Support operational initiatives such as PROCure tariff automation, data standardization, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Coordinate small‑scale project meetings with category teams, ensuring progress tracking, follow‑ups, and consistent execution.
