About The Position

As a Quality Inspector, you'll evaluate incoming deliveries and ensure products meet all quality specifications and receiving standards. You'll monitor bananas and produce and collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams. This position includes conducting audits, tracking non-compliance, and supporting training efforts to uphold safety and labeling protocols. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Strong written and verbal communication across teams and roles
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and flexible scheduling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Comfortable lifting products up to 60 pounds and working in refrigerated warehouse environment
  • Comfortable sitting or standing for long periods of time at desk or in warehouse
  • Demonstrates clear communication across warehouse and management teams

Nice To Haves

  • Food manufacturing, supply chain, or warehouse inspection experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Audit deliveries and log non-compliance with detail and precision
  • Supports inventory quality checks and vendor communication initiatives
  • Spot-checks Produce aisles to ensure compliance with Company standards and specifications.
  • Maintain daily walk sheet and inform buyer on product quality as needed.
  • Conducts evaluations to ensure operational and safety procedures are followed
  • Collaborates with Procurement team to improve vendor quality performance
