As a Procurement Project Manager at Philips, you will be at the forefront of driving supplier-enabled innovations and managing our supplier sustainability roadmap. Your primary focus will be to identify, cultivate, and implement cutting-edge supplier solutions that enhance our product offerings and align with our sustainability goals. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the global personal health consumer electronics industry, who can seamlessly integrate market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements into our procurement strategies. In this position, you will spearhead the organization of innovation events with suppliers, continuously scout for new and innovative suppliers, and facilitate the creation and management of innovation roadmaps that align with our business goals. You'll be the key driver in bringing innovative ideas from suppliers into our product development pipeline. Additionally, you will ensure that our suppliers meet all sustainability regulations and contribute to our sustainability goals, working closely with them to deploy these regulations effectively and drive continuous improvement in their sustainability practices. You will initiate and lead procurement projects that align with category and business strategies, focusing on optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO) and ensuring supply chain resilience. Your role will also involve leading supplier selection processes, fostering strong supplier relationships, and driving supplier improvement projects to mitigate risks, enhance manufacturability, and ensure the highest quality standards are met. Furthermore, you will provide strategic insights and data-driven analysis to support negotiation teams in achieving significant cost reductions while maintaining high standards of quality and innovation. As a thought leader in procurement, you will influence design choices and value chain decisions with a focus on innovation, cost reduction, quality improvement, and sustainability. Your leadership will extend to guiding cross-functional teams on best practices in procurement and supplier management. You will be a vital member of the Grooming & Beauty Business Procurement team, a dynamic and global team with members in The Netherlands, Singapore, Brazil, and Hong Kong. Reporting to the Procurement Business Partner based in Eindhoven, you will be part of a young, energetic team driven by the opportunities to involve procurement early and deeply in new platform designs and product enhancements.
