Keep reading: The RoleConducts audits of purchasing order files in accordance with established standards for accuracy, quality and compliance with existing FAR/DFAR governing regulations. Interprets federal, state and/or international regulations as they apply to purchase order requirements. Evaluates suppliers in terms of risk to the company and establishes controls to mitigate any potential impact or loss to HII. Prepares reports of audit findings and recommendations to management. May include auditing activities under Sarbanes-Oxley. May support organization in evaluating and recommending improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures.
