About The Position

The Procurement Operations Analyst is responsible driving the operational success of procurement activity at QTS. This role will function as a support for QTS procurement and strategic sourcing, and QTS employees that are engaged in the procurement process. The person will be responsible for executing various P2P processes, while making sure that QTS policies and practices are being adhered to. Assist in data analysis, document research, and various P2P related projects that support Procurement partners and business stakeholders. Help in efforts to make the procurement easy to understand and encourage stakeholder collaboration with QTS Procurement overall.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply-Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Operations or Finance.
  • Relevant experience in Sourcing / Procurement / Supply-Chain, Account Management, or other roles demonstrating relationship building and maintenance.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, reasoning skills, and strong attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Inquisitive in nature.
  • Ability to apply change management and consulting skills/knowledge and expertise.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strategic thinker, high degree of business acumen and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled in building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and solve problems.
  • Self-motivated and goal driven.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Procurement organization through completion of procurement functions utilizing various enterprise systems
  • Review, modify and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Assist Category Sourcing in the execution of business/service contracts
  • Strengthen the Procurement organization by collaboratively identifying and implementing improved processes that deliver value while reducing risk and achieving high compliance standards
  • Support procurement strategies to maximize cost savings and minimize risk by helping guide employees toward appropriate buying channels
  • Assist in the maintenance and implementation of digital vendor catalogs in procurement systems, ensuring proper usage, user access, and pricing
  • Assist in the adoption of procurement initiatives and policies, helping QTS employees understand and follow the process
  • Act as a data steward regarding procurement and inventory data, ensuring necessary information for meaningful data analysis from procurement systems
  • Become knowledgeable about the QTS business, looking for process improvements, helpful data points, and digesting customer feedback on what works well and what does not.
  • Perform research and analysis using relevant systems and Microsoft Excel, transforming raw data into information to be used for executive
  • Serve as a liaison between the Procurement organization and internal user departments.
