About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, Washington. Position Responsibilities: Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements. Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity. Manages employees' performance against procurement plans and key performance indicators that demonstrate program execution Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Manages and assists with complex negotiations and negotiation strategies Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Shift: This position is for 1st shift. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • More than 5 years of experience negotiating and executing contracts with suppliers
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience executing against contract terms and conditions
  • Experience with contracts with the US Department of Defense
  • Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)

  • Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
  • Summary pay range: $122,400 - $165,600
  • This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
