Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Lead, develop, and mentor the procurement team, including Senior Buyers and Buyers, ensuring alignment with department goals and company standards. Oversee procurement activities related to fab expansion projects, coordinating closely with Engineering, Facilities, Operations, and Supply Chain to meet equipment, construction, and materials timelines. Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and long‑term category strategies to support cost, quality, and delivery objectives. Strengthen procurement governance by reinforcing separation of duties, contract compliance, and audit readiness across all purchasing functions. Manage supplier performance, implement corrective actions as needed, and support supplier onboarding for new project requirements. Collaborate cross‑functionally to support new product and new project launches, ensuring early procurement involvement in planning, forecasting, and supply chain readiness. Evaluate and improve procurement processes, tools, and reporting to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk. Act as the primary escalation point for supply disruptions, long-lead challenges, and project‑critical purchasing needs. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or professional certification (CPM, CPSM, etc.) preferred. 8+ years of procurement or sourcing experience, including leadership or team‑lead responsibilities. Experience in semiconductor, high‑tech manufacturing, or capital project procurement strongly preferred. Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and drive strategic initiatives. Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration skills. Solid understanding of procurement controls, policy compliance, and audit expectations. Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools. Skills Exceptional talent in negotiating and networking. Ability to manage projects and establish clear goals and accountabilities to ensure successful delivery (on time, within budget, meeting agreed upon success criteria). Knowledge of the legal terminology and language related to supplier and/or vendor agreements and contracts. Highly skilled at building and maintaining effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers. Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills are required to support internal customer’s and external supplier relationships as well individuals in all levels of the organization. Ability to resolve conflicts, encourage collaboration and influence others to achieve business objectives. Ability to drive actions and solutions through cross-functional teams by using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve a wide range of complex issues in creative and effective ways. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion of assigned projects and duties. Working Conditions Ability to work in an open concept office environment. Ability to work weekends as needed to respond to the business needs of a 24/7 manufacturing facility.
