About The Position

As the Procurement Manager – North America Logistics and Supply Chain , you will lead the end‑to‑end strategic sourcing and procurement process for the Logistics and Supply Chain Category, including Transportation, Warehousing, and Pallets, managing roughly $450MM in spend. You will drive innovative sourcing strategies, partner with global and regional stakeholders, and guide cross‑functional teams to align processes and policies with business needs. You’ll strengthen supplier relationships, negotiate complex agreements, and ensure smooth, compliant contract implementation. In this role, you will monitor supplier and internal performance, deliver clear insights to executive leadership, assess market trends and emerging technologies, and lead the development and execution of Request for Information (RFI) / Request for Proposal (RFP). You will also oversee the rollout of new contracts and processes while maintaining disciplined tracking of performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
  • 7+ years of business experience in a relevant business function; procurement, logistics and/or supply chain.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning Define the Logistics and Supply Chain procurement strategy to establish reliable supply sources, optimize current and future market conditions, and ensure effective contingency planning.
  • Lead end‑to‑end procurement process with full ownership and alignment through planning and execution.
  • Build and maintain a portfolio of strategic agreements with strong supplier relationships to manage pricing, quality, supply, and overall risk for SCJ.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics across assigned categories.
  • Drive strong engagement between Procurement and the North America Logistics and Supply Chain teams to maximize value and support business priorities.
  • Stay ahead of external market trends, and best practices to inform strategy and decision‑making.
  • Identify, prioritize, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee risk management activities and further develop risk‑management capabilities within the category.
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Develop and manage strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers.
  • Lead joint business planning efforts with the supply base to align priorities and maximize value.
  • Establish performance metrics to evaluate, develop, and prioritize actions to meet business objectives.
  • Manage supplier performance against defined objectives to ensure delivery, quality and service expectations are met.
  • Oversee the quarterly business review process for key suppliers to assess progress, identify gaps, and drive improvements.
  • Provide high‑level issue resolution for supplier‑related quality or service challenges.
  • Sourcing & Procurement Management Direct Logistics and Supply Chain procurement activities across categories and projects, including strategic sourcing, supplier management and contract management.
  • Provide leadership and support throughout sourcing initiatives, including: Total cost of ownership model development. Category strategy development, fact-based negotiation strategy development and execution. Supplier evaluation and selection, and full category implementation.
  • Customer Relationship Management Drive efforts to understand internal customer needs and summarize business requirements as input into enterprise-wide sourcing efforts.
  • Strategically evaluate and identify requirements for current, new, and changing corporate activities.
  • Proactively engage internal partners to communicate solution recommendations based on category, market and sourcing information; Ensure customer needs are met via ongoing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
