The Launch Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing indirect procurement strategies that support new product launches, site launches, and strategic initiatives. You’ll play a key role in ensuring on-time sourcing, supplier qualification, and developing business services critical to successful launches. This role provides an opportunity to work with various cross functional teams, build relationships with vendors, and drive cost efficiencies that have a direct impact on the company’s bottom line.

  • Develop sourcing strategies for launch activities; create, plan and implement highly complex and technical sourcing strategies by partnering with cross functional teams to define desired outcomes, conduct market research, explore alternatives, identify cost reduction opportunities
  • Ability to develop both domestic and international sourcing strategies
  • Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers to meet project timelines
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with new and existing vendors
  • Establish strong partnerships to reduce risk and drive efficiencies
  • Consult with stakeholders to develop the best contractual outcomes as well as mediate contractual issues as needed
  • Lead cross functional team through complex negotiations and RFQs
  • Partner with finance to evaluate budgets and set targets
  • Report and provide communication to senior management
  • Ability to coach and develop team members
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or similar roles preferred
  • Understanding of procurement software (Netsuite, SAP, or other ERP systems)
