About The Position

The Procurement Manager for IT Category at TikTok is responsible for managing the sourcing and purchasing activities of all hardware and services required for IT operations. Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant technology sourcing/procurement experience, especially in IT network hardware and services.
  • In-depth understanding of best-in-class procurement processes including sourcing, contracting, and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop partnerships with global key manufacturers and resellers in the IT industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in Project/Program Management.
  • 3+ years of experience and knowledge of IT network and infrastructure technologies.
  • Knowledge of construction project-related tendering processes and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with TikTok's IT Solution Delivery Management team in selecting IT service partners and building sourcing strategies.
  • Drive cost savings, mitigate risk, and manage key sourcing projects.
  • Manage and improve the performance of IT services vendors.
  • Optimize processes and drive cost reduction within the organization.
  • Negotiate with strategic suppliers and manage RFx's and vendor business reviews.
  • Scrutinize supplier pricing structures and resolve anomalies.
  • Develop vendor base and categories for IT services, establishing a new vendor introduction process.
  • Collaborate with finance, tax, and legal teams on regional requirements.
