About The Position

Job Purpose: The Procurement Manager - Indirect at AB MAURI FOOD INC will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement of indirect goods and services essential for the company's operations. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies, ensuring cost-effective purchasing, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on indirect procurement.
  • Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for indirect goods and services, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong partnerships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities align with business requirements.
  • Manage supplier performance through regular reviews and assessments, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and service level expectations.
  • Implement and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on procurement metrics and performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
