About The Position

As a Procurement Intern at Cencora, you’ll be provided with the opportunity to leverage your academic understanding in a real-world, business driven environment. Working on the Procurement Operations & Governance team you will collaborate with the Information Technology, International, and Global Indirect Procurement teams, to assist across a combination of daily support and ongoing project work. Specifically, you can expect to work with developing on-demand analytical reports, system integrations, RFx events, as well as broad end user training of both procurement software and custom reporting dashboards.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in fields such as business administration, supply chain management, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the future
• Highly motivated self-starter
• Proven people/project leadership throughout your academic career (on- or off- campus)
• Ability to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make tradeoff decisions quickly
• Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to give/receive constructive feedback
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Good project management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to end users of the Global Indirect Procurement software systems used for activities across sourcing and contracting
• Perform data mining across internal and external Global Indirect Procurement source systems
• Maintain integrity of internal Global Indirect Procurement master data by performing data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities
• Conduct data analyses using traditional and advanced models to support research effort
• Exposure to the procurement process, including RFx events, negotiation, vendor selection, and implementation
• Create presentation materials for members of the management team
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify system enhancements and implement necessary changes or upgrades
• Ability to work cross-functionally across Cencora
