Procurement Intern
About The Position
Performance Foodservice has an internship opportunity affording exposure and opportunities to learn purchasing in the foodservice industry. The intern will learn about the vendor/supplier relationship, negotiating price/contract terms, service levels and inventory tracking and management. Intern will help support the procurement team(s) by participating in day-to-day activities, customer service and projects as appropriate. This may also provide the opportunity to partner with other business functions such as Sales, Operations, Finance, and Human Resources. The internship will begin in June 2026 and end in August 2026. This position will be located in Shawano, Wisconsin (WI)
Requirements
- Must be in close proximity to Shawano, Wisconsin
- Must be a rising junior or senior
- Majoring in Economics, Business, Supply Chain or other related field
- Overall GPA 3.0
- This internship will be in person to the preferred location
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization
- Strong customer service skills and business acumen
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
