About The Position

As a Cheese Procurement Intern at Saputo, you will engage in various accounting activities, including preparing journal entries and financial reports, analyzing financial data, and assisting with bookkeeping tasks. Requirements

• Working towards a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong math capabilities.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work scheduled hours and required overtime as needed.

• Effective and efficient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily and weekly activities for converter plants.
• Complete Month End Close accruals, journal entries, and P&L reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly consolidation files around inventory and packaging.
• Assist with research, filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents.
• Work with bookkeeping software.
• Assist in developing inventory reporting and reconciliation.
• Help create and develop KPIs regarding working capital.
• Complete project work as assigned.
