About The Position

Welcome to Love's! Our Construction and Remodel department is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to ensure that purchases are executed swiftly and consistently according to procedures. Top candidates will have exceptional customer service, a high degree of organizational skills and the ability to properly prioritize work within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years relevant work experience in procurement
  • SAP experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • strong oral and verbal communication skills
  • ability to perform and make sound decisions under pressure and strict deadlines
  • excellent time management skills
  • detail oriented
  • ability to multitask and be a team player
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Experience with Construction or Hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, generate and/or process supplier quotes, statements of work, purchase orders (POs), addendums and all documentation relevant to procurement; distribute to management and/or applicable corporate departments as needed for review, approval, and storage.
  • Assist in negotiating pricing and establishing terms and conditions for purchases.
  • Work directly with vendors to ensure orders are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate the status of purchases with internal customers to ensure products are received in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot logistics, inventory management and supply chain related issues for resolution.
  • Work in conjunction with Accounting, Tax, and Fixed Assets regarding Project Codes for proper coding of PO’s.
  • Build parts in Material Master and submit for approval.
  • Work weekly VIM Exception and Workflow ICG queues for Invoice processing.
  • Work weekly report of Open POs and Invoices for reconciliation of AP P2P process.
  • Understand process flows, identify opportunities and implement improved process efficiency standards.
  • Interpret architectural plans; identify and communicate design plan discrepancies according to procedures.
  • Review weekly project status reports.
  • Assist with Software duties as needed.
  • Special Projects as assigned.
