The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the operations of procuring defined commodities and services for the district in accordance with the purchasing policy, procedures, processes, local, state, federal laws, and procurement best practices. This role involves managing the maintenance of all solicitations produced within the Purchasing and Property Management Department, developing and supervising the competitive solicitation process, and ensuring specifications are up-to-date. The position also includes developing purchasing seminars for external groups and overseeing the PeopleSoft and bid management platform process.
