Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Experience with Oracle ERP and procurement systems
  • Background in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
  • Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
  • Proven experience in cost/price analysis and supplier negotiations
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in defense, aerospace, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and subcontract management
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools

Responsibilities

  • Analyze material requirements (MRP) and demand signals using Oracle systems
  • Develop and issue RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs to suppliers
  • Perform cost and price analysis, including proposal evaluation and fact-finding
  • Lead supplier negotiations (pricing, terms & conditions)
  • Create, issue, and administer Purchase Orders (POs) and subcontracts
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost compliance
  • Serve as primary liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders (engineering, program management, quality)
  • Resolve supplier issues related to quality, design, and payment
  • Coordinate and support source selection activities
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies (GDLS)
  • Conduct supplier kickoff meetings and program reviews
  • Track supplier lead times and align procurement activities with program schedules
  • Support additional procurement and program activities as needed
