About The Position
In this role, you will be responsible for placing purchase orders to allocated vendors for a variety of food or packaging Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), ensuring that the correct price, quantity, and buffer are maintained. You will partner with HelloFresh distribution centers, offsite production and warehouse locations, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and that inventories match demand requirements. Continuous improvement efforts will be a key focus, as you will recommend changes, test new processes, and implement updates. Analyzing purchasing data to ensure accuracy of information and purchasing procedures will be essential, as well as resolving any unforeseen problems with suppliers relating to operations, purchasing, or quality/performance quickly and professionally. You will conduct all weekly operations processes, including updating POs, tracking freight, managing production issues, paying invoices, scrubbing data, and managing inventory levels. Supporting your teammates to ensure that no boxes are missed and no ingredients are substituted due to procurement issues will also be part of your responsibilities. You will work with a team of internal high-achievers to continue building, growing, and improving on our offsite production capabilities.
