About The Position

The Procurement Buyer for IT at Qurate Retail Group is responsible for managing supplier identification, preparing RFPs, and negotiating contracts related to IT categories across various businesses. This hybrid-remote role focuses on developing supplier contracts and relationships to maximize value and minimize risk, supporting the organization's procurement strategy and objectives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience or comparable education in procurement/strategic sourcing.
• Hands-on experience buying IT products and services, particularly software.
• Working knowledge of eProcurement systems and advanced reporting tools.
• Knowledge of contracts across all categories including software licensing agreements and SaaS agreements.
• 1+ year experience leading the procurement negotiation process.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in retail procurement.
• Familiarity with global procurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the identification of potential suppliers and preparation of RFPs.
• Conduct negotiations on all contracts relating to IT categories across all businesses.
• Develop supplier contracts and relationships that maximize value and minimize risk.
• Evaluate current suppliers and develop new suppliers based on quality, service, price, innovation, and value-added capabilities.
• Manage existing contracts for all commodities within scope to ensure perceived value is being realized.
• Communicate market dynamics to Procurement Leadership Team, Category Leaders, and Business Unit Leaders.
