Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of related audit or finance experience.
  • Certification as State of Oklahoma Certified Procurement Officer, or ability to attain Level 1 certification within 90 days.
  • Additional 3 years of procurement-related experience for Procurement Assessor III candidates.

  • Experience with PeopleSoft and/or Celonis.

Responsibilities

  • Review and audit partner agencies purchase card transactions and procurement acquisitions.
  • Understand and audit business area objectives, risks, and controls to ensure significant risks are identified and appropriate controls are established.
  • Comprehend applicable statutes, standards, policies, and regulatory initiatives while conducting audits.
  • Gather, analyze, summarize, and document information using software to complete assessments.
  • Provide independent and objective evaluations based on statutes and standards.
  • Lead and participate in ad-hoc specialty audit projects as needed.
  • Draft clear and concise communications and reports related to audit findings.
  • Convey pertinent information to team members and contribute suggestions during meetings.
  • Conduct meetings and interviews with partner agencies' procurement leadership regarding audits.
  • Act as a liaison for partner agency threshold increase requests.
  • Meet continuous education and training requirements set by leadership.
  • Assist with day-to-day assessment operations.
