Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of contract management and purchasing best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • CPSM, CPP, or CIPS certification is a plus.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas is a plus.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve best value.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
  • Analyze market trends and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams as needed.
  • Support audits and reporting related to procurement activities.
  • Run required reports and communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Track orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Monitor stock replenishment reports and place replenishment orders as needed.
  • Develop and good maintain relationships with supplier customer service reps.
  • Use Oracle and other systems to place purchase orders.
  • Provide drawings and specifications to vendors as required.
