About The Position

Far North Dallas area client is looking for a Procurement Analyst on a contract-to-hire basis. Keys: Minimum of 3-5 years of supply chain/procurement Supplier enablement and catalogs Strong written and verbal communication Coupa strongly preferred but not required Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Lead strategic sourcing projects for assigned spend categories, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing contract management. Identify and execute cost-saving and process improvement opportunities aligned with business priorities. Coupa Platform Oversight Administer Coupa procurement functions including requisitioning, purchase order management, supplier onboarding, and invoicing. Ensure accuracy, policy compliance, and efficient workflows within the system. Supplier Relationship Management Build and sustain productive relationships with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and service levels. Monitor vendor performance and proactively address performance issues or improvement areas. Market Intelligence & Cost Efficiency Conduct market research to uncover trends, new supplier options, and cost reduction opportunities. Leverage Coupa's analytical tools to assess procurement performance and support data-driven decisions. Cross-Functional Partnership Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Legal, and other teams to align procurement activities with overall business strategy. Act as a procurement advisor to internal stakeholders, promoting Coupa best practices. Contracting & Compliance Lead contract development and negotiations to ensure consistency with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain Coupa sourcing workflows that support legal and ethical compliance. Process Optimization & Training Evaluate current procurement processes to identify and implement enhancements. Deliver training and support to internal users to promote adoption and effective use of Coupa. Reporting & Analytics Generate and present regular reports to senior leadership detailing procurement achievements, savings, and key sourcing metrics. Use Coupa's reporting functionality to track progress and ensure alignment with goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Coupa or a comparable procurement platform.
  • Proven experience managing suppliers across various spend categories (direct and indirect).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to guide sourcing strategies.
  • Solid understanding of procurement best practices, contract law, and supplier management.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification in Procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
