Summary: Our Procurement Analyst will perform a variety of procurement and supply chain support activities related to: Contract creation and maintenance Creating tools to ensure optimal supply coverage, leading/supporting sourcing events. Partners with procurement category managers to track commodity and market trends Facilitate supplier relationship management activities (evaluation, selection, negotiations and contract management) Conduct spend analysis, performs other analyses and reporting as directed.

Requirements

3+ years of Procurement and Sourcing experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong analytical skills (i.e. statistics, modeling, and Excel capabilities)
Strong financial acumen
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
Travel up to 15%

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze data including, but not limited to, current item and supplier spend, supply market information, internal customer requirements, benchmark information, and supplier performance data
Consults with and advises category managers, ensuring business decisions are well supported from financial standpoint
Provide recommendations based on analysis performed for category and sourcing initiatives
Analyzes supply coverage across the manufacturing network and provide recommendations to Category Managers
Measure actual vs. planned savings and develop action plans to meet goals and solutions
Develop and implement ways to measure suppliers to drive continuous performance
Analyze data and support other Supply Chain activities (logistics and planning departments)
Creates and maintains procurement contract data in ERP systems
Supports strategic planning and budget process, providing financial information, analysis and support as needed
Supports Procurement initiatives and reporting related to Supplier Diversity and Responsible Sourcing
