Newly formed role supporting the Berkshire Hathaway Aviation Services procurement strategy, a partnership between FlightSafety International and NetJets. This role will play a key role in tracking and managing key metrics across the FlightSafety and NetJets procurement functions to create visibility to spend activity and sourcing opportunities and drive consolidation and standardization of procurement strategies across the businesses.

  • Create and maintain recurring reporting and analysis of vendor utilization, spending patterns, contract compliance, savings performance and other procurement and financial KPIs to assess procurement effectiveness and identify savings and efficiency opportunities.
  • Coordinate an annual category planning process to align key initiatives and goals across FlightSafety and NetJets and develop a joint project and savings plan.
  • Lead recurring cross company meetings to review results and insights, track progress against open initiatives and update project pipelines.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain reporting procedures that support internal control procedures related to contracts and financial commitments generated by procurement activities.
  • Bachelor's in Supply Chain and Logistics or Business
  • 4-6 years of experience
  • High degree of financial and business acumen and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to act independently.
  • Project management experience leading diverse groups of cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of core procurement processes including category planning, supplier selection and management, sourcing and contract management.
  • Experience working with large data sets to create operational and management reports and dashboards.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis and financial statements preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of business and economic issues, cost structures and contracts.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to identify, engage, and facilitate collaboration across all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external.
