Summary: The Procurement Analyst – Material Supply Management plays a critical role in keeping our bakeries running. This role supports the sourcing, storage, and flow of materials needed for production. You will work cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, production, and external manufacturing teams to ensure materials are available at the right time, at the right cost, and at the right quality. This role offers strong exposure to procurement strategy, supplier performance management, and cross-functional collaboration — providing a foundation for long-term growth within supply chain and procurement leadership.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of procurement or sourcing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain systems (ERP experience preferred).
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Material Availability & Performance:
  • Develop and support procurement strategies to ensure timely material delivery and optimal inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory and partner with production teams to forecast requirements.
  • Identify and resolve supply risks, shortages, delays, or discrepancies.
  • Improve Cost & Supply Efficiency:
  • Support category managers in strengthening supplier relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply consistency and optimize total landed cost (freight, working capital, order quantities).
  • Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate Across the Business:
  • Partner with logistics to improve transportation and distribution performance.
  • Support supplier transitions and material change initiatives.
  • Assist the External Manufacturing team with supplier and project coordination.
  • Strengthen Supplier Performance:
  • Participate in supplier performance evaluations.
  • Contribute to supplier development initiatives.
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
