About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Procurement Analyst Manager to join our team in Plano, TX. We are looking for a dynamic First Line Manager to lead our Data Integration team with a focus on our government business. The ideal candidate will oversee the procurement analysts, ensuring effective metric development, automation, report creation, and data insights. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of data processes, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to drive business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in data science, accounting, finance, business management, information systems, general business or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, trending, and reporting
• 3+ years of experience utilizing data visualization tools including excel and/or Tableau
• 1+ years of experience in a leadership role leading various teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change

• Familiarity with SQL and data integration tools
• Experience in project management and process improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of procurement analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Develop and implement strategies for metric development, automation, and reporting that align with business objectives.
• Ensure the team maintains consistent metric and data definitions across the organization.
• Collaborate with senior management to align team goals with broader organizational strategies.
• Oversee the analysis of source data and the definition of data mapping specifications.
• Ensure documentation of data sources and definitions by business unit is accurate and up-to-date.
• Guide the design and implementation of data transformation processes to maintain data quality and integrity.
• Establish and monitor data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of integrated data.
• Collaborate with data owners to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Ensure metrics are validated against raw data from source systems.
• Drive the utilization of analytic platforms like Tableau and Power BI for automated metrics and dashboards.
• Ensure the development of key business metrics with consistent definitions across the organization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure metrics align with business objectives and reporting standards.
• Build strong relationships with director analysts, data architects, IT, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and integration needs.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate understanding and collaboration.
• Act as a liaison between the Data Integration team and other business units to ensure alignment and support.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data integration and procurement.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing data integration processes and team operations.
• Monitor team performance and implement changes as necessary to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
