About The Position

V2X is growing! The Mobile Sensors Program is looking for a Procurement Analyst to join their team. The V2X Mobile Sensors program performs Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for a ship based mobile platform with complex multi-mission radar/communication systems which have an elaborate command & control computing structure, along with communication interfaces and support sub-systems. These systems and the program assigned employees, which include bargaining members (union), are tasked to primarily operate in the Pacific Command's (PACOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR). Our program ensures the COBRA KING (CK) radar and communication systems are Fully Mission Capable (FMC) 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, and capable of supporting mission operations on short-notice. CK platform is on the USNS Howard O. Lorenzen. In performance of this mission, V2X Mobile Sensors Management Office (MSMO) is seeking a Procurement Analyst to assist the management team in performance and execution of program contractual requirements and associated activities. Position is located at Patrick SFB, FL . The Procurement Analyst will play a key role in our program’s logistics support of the CK platform and will assist as required in the planning, organizing, and executing of procurement/logistics support activities. Position will be required to support supply efforts to include shipping/receiving of material, inventory support, and general support to the program. This position will report to the Deputy Program Manager. This position involves OCONUS travel in accordance with the vessel in-port periods; ~20% This position, although V2X, is represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 2088, and the pay and benefits are per the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Requirements

  • Existing DoD SECRET clearance.
  • 2+ years’ experience in related field.
  • Knowledge of distribution and shipping methods.
  • Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics tracking software and Microsoft 365
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management principles.
  • Familiarity using DoD Form 1149s
  • Must be able to pass Mariner Physical Exam IAW program PWS
  • No restrictions on lifting/moving heavy objects; Constant use of stairs while OCONUS
  • Driver’s License
  • Current U.S. Passport with minimum of 1 year prior to expiration and 3 blank pages.
  • This position requires frequent overseas travel; approximately 60+ days a year
  • High school diploma

Nice To Haves

  • Experience w/ military Transportation Management Office (TMO)
  • Knowledge of International shipping requirements (EXIM, Customs etc.)
  • Knowledge of S/4HANA
  • Familiar with One Touch – NAVSUP (Naval Supply Systems Command system)

Responsibilities

  • Assist with performing program property, material, and equipment inventories as directed.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of program property, material, and equipment to include the necessary labeling, distribution, and redistribution.
  • Maintain oversight/submission of program property requiring calibration through the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL).
  • Conduct Purchasing-Card (P-Card) requirements to include material research, pricing/availability, and requisition.
  • Additional tasks may be assigned.
