About The Position

Procurement Agent Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Procurement Agent(s) (Intermediate and Senior) to join the team in Everett, Renton, Auburn or Puyallup Washington including the listed surrounding areas. Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience from Mid-Level to Senior Procurement Agents. Position Responsibilities: Act as the liaison and relationship owner between suppliers and Boeing. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies Travel to suppliers and conduct assessments to ensure the supplier’s ongoing capability to support Boeing. Provide oversight and management of the supply and demand of parts, schedules, and supplier quality and delivery. Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, internal and external partners, and peers; including gaining rapport and engaging positively with internal and external collaborators, even in difficult circumstances. Analyze and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g. on-time delivery) and using those indicators to predict risks; assist suppliers to develop new predictive indicators as needed. Conduct risk, issue, and opportunity (RIO) management. Mitigate discovered risks and initiate and implement supplier recovery plans and improvement activities. Root Cause/Corrective Action initiatives to improve systemic issues. Facilitate cross-functional discussions regarding technical approaches, the resolution of quality issues, and the improvement of products and processes. Perform system transactions and data entry to maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) fidelity, support metric generation, and maintain stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes
  • Experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW)
  • Experience leading projects from contract award through system requirements review, preliminary design review, critical design review, parts procurement, installation, testing, and delivery
  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Nice To Haves

  • 7+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes
  • 10+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • Experience with ERP systems such as ERPLN and/or SAP
