About The Position

Procurement Agent, Level 3/4 Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Procurement Agent to join the Materials Organization located in Everett, Auburn or Kent WA on 1st Shift Position Responsibilities: Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements. Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions. Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues. Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities. Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related work experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years' experience managing supplier relationships, strategic partnerships and supplier performance
  • 5+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices & processes
  • Domestic and international travel as needed (5-10% of time)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 10+ years of experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations
  • 10+ years of experience with contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • 10+ years of experience developing and executing supply chain strategies
