About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent to join our BCA Supply Chain Castings and Forgings team in Kent, WA or Everett, WA. This position is required to be 100% onsite. This position will require you to sit at the Kent, WA location with travel to the Everett, WA site on a weekly basis. The Procurement Agent will provide contracting knowledge, negotiate and carry out all aspects of BCA Supply Chain in support of production programs. Your primary duties include maintaining relationships with external companies and internal collaborators, negotiating cost recoveries, engineering changes, and contract extensions. In this role, you will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will maintain contracts and statement of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures. Our team is currently hiring for a Lead (Level 5) Procurement Agent.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain or Procurement practices & processes
  • 10+ years of experience leading projects in a cross-functional environment
  • 10+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Domestic and international travel as needed
  • Requires 100% onsite (5 days a week)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Provide projects leadership on strategic programs/objectives.
  • Develops procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirements.
  • Develops and executes company strategic business goals and objectives.
  • Consults on proposal analyses and development of negotiation strategies.
  • Formalizes procurement requirements with customers and leads the supplier negotiation process.
  • Prepares and executes negotiated documents.
  • Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Manages contract terminations.
  • Develop organization and company improvement plans.

  • Summary pay range (Level 5) $144,900 - $168,250
