About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent to join our Contracts Negotiation Support team in Everett, WA. Supply Chain Contracts & Sourcing Functional Excellence seeks a highly motivated individual to join the Supply Chain Contract Negotiation Support (CNS) team and the Aftermarket Deal Team (ADT). This individual must be willing to work in a fluid and challenging environment. This position requires individuals to understand contract terms, processes and compliance, and have experience communicating at an executive and organizational level; yet possess the ability to think outside of the box to find creative solutions to contracting problems that both protect the enterprise and enable the business. This role will also require a strong ability to instruct and transfer your knowledge to others in the organization. The ideal candidate is skilled at educating peers on Boeing contract terms, preparing teams for supplier negotiations, and getting directly involved in supplier negotiations when required. This position will provide an opportunity to work closely with leaders within multiple business units and sourcing teams. Our team is currently hiring a Senior (Level 4) or Lead (Level 5) Procurement Agent.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain or Procurement practices & processes
  • 7+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW)
  • 7+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • 7+ years of experience leading projects in a cross-functional environment
  • 7+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
  • Domestic and international travel as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • Level 5:10+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain or Procurement practices & processes
  • 7+ years of experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations
  • 7+ years of experience with contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department
  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • 7+ years of experience developing and executing supply chain strategies

Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
  • Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
  • Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
  • Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
