About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Procurement Agent - Contracts to join our Policies, Procedures & Standard Work team in Everett, WA. In this role you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs to support their professional development. You will also facilitate training infrastructure with other functional groups within Supply Chain. You will play a key role in ensuring that our supply chain organization is efficient, effective, and aligned with the overall goals of the organization. Our team is currently hiring Mid-Level (Level 3) or Senior (Level 4) Procurement Agents.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
• 4+ years of experience leading projects from contract award through system requirements review, preliminary design review, critical design review, parts procurement, installation, testing, and delivery
• 4+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
• Domestic and international travel as needed
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
• Level 4: 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
• 3+ years mentoring/coaching employees on supply chain processes and applicability for problem solving
• 3+ years of experience with excellent communication and presentation skills
• 3+ years of experience working cross functionally with other departments, organizations or skills.
• 3+ years of proven customer service abilities.
• 3+ years of experience in communicating to broad audience

Responsibilities

• Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
• Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
• Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management.
• Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
