The Processor grades, sorts, classifies, receives, stores, and distributes agricultural food products by type, size, weight, and condition within the facility. This role involves conveying products and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas, marking products with identifying information, and recording items received and/or distributed. The Processor is responsible for weighing and/or counting items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. Key duties also include operating equipment to load or unload products, starting or stopping equipment, dislodging jams by hand or with appropriate equipment, and opening bins or chutes to move products between locations. The Processor maintains production/processing records, reads schedules and orders to determine items for movement or distribution, fills requisitions, opens or seals containers, loads or packs produce for storage or shipment, collects crop samples, and operates a mill for specified times while regulating product inflow and observing outflow.
