About The Position

You will be responsible for systematic problem solving and troubleshooting of molding and assembly equipment using strong mechanical ability, effective communication skills and demonstration of leadership skills.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferably with vocational education training in skilled trades or other related discipline
• 2-4 years of experience working with injection molding machine set-up and processing
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Must complete New Employee Orientation and Quality Systems Overview training in addition to any training identified by department management

Responsibilities

• Change molds in 500 to 1500 Ton injection molding machines
• Ensure proper Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic hook up for tools
• Change robot end of arm tools
• Perform basic machine and robot functions related to tool changeovers
• Check and document machine settings
• Adjust process for common defects
• Program pick and place robots to remove parts from machines
• Document process set-up parameters
• Investigate and resolve machine and robot issues
• Investigate and resolve product quality issues
• Perform changeover within a specified time
• Maintain good housekeeping in line with our 5S principles
• Clean molds and repair tooling as necessary
• Ensure product conformity to quality standards upon start up
