As a Processor I, you will assist in the collection and organization of loan documentation for mortgage files, working under the guidance of more experienced processors. This fully remote position requires a proactive and team-oriented individual who is eager to learn and contribute to our mission of helping homeowners achieve their dreams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial data.
  • Proficient PC skills including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment.
  • Experience with Desktop underwriting and Loan Prospector preferred.
  • Working knowledge of real estate transaction requirements of federal and state agencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to implement written procedures.
  • Independent, self-starting, team player with a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Desktop underwriting and Loan Prospector preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Processor IIs and IIIs with loan entry to set up new mortgage loan accounts daily and prepare files for processing.
  • Order, follow up, and obtain all third-party verifications required for loan submission.
  • Order FHA case number (if applicable).
  • Pull USPS to verify property address.
  • Obtain Property Tax Sheet for County Assessor’s office.
  • Order appraisal – if indicated.
  • Request transcripts 4506T.
  • Run file through Data Verify.
  • Order escrow, title, CPL, wiring instructions, final title fees.
  • Order updated Mortgage rating (if applicable).
  • Order Hazard Insurance.
  • Order employment verifications.
  • Review all Federal and State Disclosures.
  • Complete File Contacts in Encompass.
  • Complete Homeowners – Setup Checklist.
  • Upload all documents into the eFolder.
  • Participate in internal meetings and required trainings.
  • Maintain a professional image and follow all Homeowners Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
