About The Position

Objective: Responsible for preparing, cutting, and packaging fresh produce in a safe and efficient manner. Works in a team to ensure that the fresh-cut products meet quality standards and are processed according to health and safety regulations.This role will be responsible for aligning internal processes with the company objectives while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
Ability to read, write and speak English
Must work overnight schedule
Entry-level position: previous experience in food processing or manufacturing is a plus
Ability and willingness to learn production processes
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work at cold work environment.
Ability to follow instructions and SOPs
Basic mechanical aptitude for operating production equipment
Teamwork and communication skills
Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Responsibilities

Follow directions to complete production daily .
Operate and monitor processing equipment under supervision.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production and product handling.
Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and specifications
Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality, weight, and appearance
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment following GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
Record production data, including batch numbers, quantities, and processing times
Report any equipment issues, production deviations, or quality concerns to the supervisor
Assist with packaging, labeling, and storage of finished products as needed
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout protocols
Other duties as need it
