Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Previous experience in customer service with retail or food service is highly desirable.
• Work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is helpful.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable with a positive attitude.
• Efficient in work tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sort donated goods and textiles with attention to detail to meet Goodwill quality control standards.
• Inspect textiles, furniture, appliances, small household wares, novelty items, books, toys, decorations, and sporting goods to determine salability.
• Test electronic merchandise to ensure safe operations.
• Sort, hang, tag, price, and prepare goods for resale.
• Prepare accurate reports as required throughout the day.
• Promote the development of service participants.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Operate equipment following safe operating procedures.
