As a Processing Support Technician OB/Demin, you’ll perform all aspects of circulating and in-process documentation of tissues and equipment/materials for all processing cleanrooms in a FDA regulated environment. These roles are critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it is an important step in taking the donor’s gifts and transitioning them to the lifesaving and health restoring allografts for patients around the globe. Requirements

  • High School or GED required
  • Zero years of work experience is required

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year work experience preferred
  • Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Able to convey information verbally and in writing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, Computer Software, Databases
  • Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

  • Tissue Circulating support for all processing rooms which includes obtaining necessary equipment/tools/items, preparing processing materials, and preparing samples for transport.
  • Perform set-up, break-down, and terminal cleaning events for all processing rooms and cleans and inspects general areas as needed, which includes the removal and documentation of post-processing materials and forms and bio-hazardous waste.
  • Inventory and organize supplies and equipment necessary for processing.
  • Perform environmental monitoring (touch plating of clean rooms and general areas), prepare processing materials, and orders/stocks supplies and equipment for clean rooms.
  • Monitor temperatures and maintain specified equipment (freezers, refrigerators, and incubators) as required.
